Hi, I’m Lauren Flack, a romance author and lifelong lover of stories.

I’ve always been drawn to books that make you laugh, fall in love, and feel like you’ve found a little place you could call home. Writing has given me the chance to create those kinds of stories myself—especially the messy, unexpected love stories that remind us that happily ever after rarely goes exactly according to plan.

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me with a book in my hands, dreaming up new characters, wandering around a bookstore, or looking for inspiration in the little moments of everyday life. I’m especially fond of cozy small towns, complicated characters, big feelings, and fictional men who make real-life dating standards a little unreasonable.

My books are filled with the things I love most about romance: friendship, found family, laughter, vulnerability, and the belief that sometimes the person you least expect can become the person you can’t imagine living without.
